Career Week is coming up and we need your support!
The KES Guidance Department is hosting a Career Vehicle Day for Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd graders on Wednesday, February 3rd. If you, or someone you know, has a job that involves working with an interesting vehicle, we would love to have you and your vehicle there! Or, if you would rather come and speak with students about your job at our Career Fair, we would be thrilled to have your support there too! To volunteer for vehicle day, please contact Yolanda Farmer at 873-4851 no later than January 29th. To volunteer for the Job Fair on Thursday, February 4th, please contact Suzanne Powell at 873-4851 by Jan. 29th. Thanks so much to all of you for your support! Warm Hands, Warm Hearts The K.E.S. Student Council is sponsoring a “Warm Hands, Warm Hearts” drive. With your support, they will be collecting mittens and gloves for the girls and boys of Knightsville in need. The drive will begin Wednesday, January 13, 2010, and will continue throughout the month of January. A collection bin will be located in the front foyer for students, faculty, staff, and others, to drop off their new or gently used gloves and mittens. Together we can keep our children feeling warm and loved!
